We moved to our new place this weekend! It is Tuesday and I am still pooped and very bruised. Now is the more fun part of moving...unpacking and decorating and making it mine. Just so I could update my blog a little I am posting at work right...hahaha...guess I really should do some real work. We should have internet by the time get home tonight so if I can find the computer and a place to set it up I can finally post about our Trial Lake trip and some other fun things.

Crazy Weekend
Sorry this might be long winded but soooooo much happened that if I leave anything out the story just isn't as good, I'll post lots of pictures ass soon as they get sent to me. This past weekend we went down to southern Utah to hang out with Don's brother. The plan was to take CJ's boat out on Saturday for some water skiing and tubing. We stayed with my sister in Cedar on Friday night and met the rest of the family at Newcastle Reservoir on Saturday. It is a tiny little reservoir but we were almost the only people there. We had tons of fun playing on the boat. This was a first for both Hailey and Kyley. They both loved riding on the tube. My sister-in-law got some fun pictures that I will have to post when she emails them to me. Then came me and Don's turn to ride the tube together. This is where the real adventure starts! At one point CJ got a litte too crazy driving and the tube went flying. All I really remember is being upside down and then in the water. When I surfaced the first thing I saw was Don with a very bloody nose. As he turned towards me I realized his nose was REALLY crooked. Apparently he smashed his knee into his nose as he was flying through the air. So we left the girls with the family and headed back to Cedar City to InstaCare to have Don's nose looked at. It was definitely broken. His breathing was okay so they sent us packing with a promise to call if the radiologist thought he needed to see a specialist (they never called so we figure he will be fine). After a stop for ibuprophin for him and my already stiff neck we were headed back to the water. About half way back Don decided to get pulled over. Lead feet are a genetic disorder in his family. Don also has a suspended license. So we sat there for ever waiting for them to do whatever they do when they go back to their vehicle. Finally he came back and wanted my license to make sure I was legal to drive. While we were waiting this time another Sherriff's vehicle pulled up. We thought that was a little strange for a couple of moving violations. Well it turned out that the officer that pulled us over thought he could smell marijuana coming from our vehicle especially off Don. Insane! So they asked if they could search the vehicle. Don let them. I was annoyed because it a waste time for them to look for something that was not there and never had been. I know I answered a few questions a little more smart alecky than I probably should have which is normally Don's department. But seriously what had that officer been sniffing before he decided to smell my car. I also wonder if he really even knew what pot smelled like. So when they finally realized that there was nothing for them to find they gave Don his ticket and let me drive off. Actually I don't even think they were convinced that there was nothing to find in my car because their question after they finished looking was "if we have an officer bring a dog over will it find anything?". By the time we were finished the rest of the family was done boating and back to the house and the rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful in comparison. I seriously can't take Don anywhere without some sort of incident. Sometimes I really worry about the fact that our children share his genes. And sometimes watching him and hearing old stories about him makes me really glad that I don't have any boys, the girls take after him enough...I am not sure if I could handle a miniature version of him too.

Happy Dance!
We are finally moving! We have been living in a whopping 2 bedrooms in Don's parent's basement for almost 4 months now. We have currently given up on finding a new place to buy. With the economy sucking and the houses we want still costing toooooo much we decided that we would find a place to rent for a bit so that we could have our own space again and our own stuff too. I am soooooo excited! I do a happy dance every time I think about moving. I really do appreciate my in-laws letting us stay in their house but I really need my own space. I just can't quit dancing! Too bad you can't see my moves! It's probably good you can't, it's scary!

Sick
I admire moms that can be sick and still get everything done. I am not that kind of mom. When I get sick I can't function at all. I was sick yesterday. I came home from work about 2:30, I had decided to leave the kids where they were and get some rest. I slept until six and then realized I couldn't drive to go get them. My brother-in-law ended up bring them home. Thanks Keith! Well I at least got them to stay down stairs with me. But I was feeling so wonderful that I fell asleep again. I woke up at 8:30 to a GIGANTIC mess. The girls had dumped an entire box of cereal out all over my bed and the rest of my room. They had completely emptied my purse. Hailey was in the process of filling the little potty up with water which she had first placed right by my bed. Kyley was putting wads of toilet paper into the little potty full of water and she was missing her shorts and her diaper. I called Don and asked him if he could take an extended lunch break and come home and take care of them until they went to bed. His lunch is at 9 and they usually go to bed between 9:30 and 10. If he hadn't been able to come home my mom would have come over. I managed to stay awake until he got home and then I was out like a light. How some mothers can do it all and do it while they are sick is beyond me. I feel better now but my bedroom is still recovering!
DIRT & KYLEY
Here are some pictures of Kyley on our little camping trip. She got so dirty the first afternoon that we had to give her a mini bath. She got jam in her hair and I just couldn't leave it to get covered in dirt and then become such a big mess that it would have to be cut out. Just look how dirty the water is! No more that 2 hours after her bath she was filthy again. Just look. Even covered in dirt she has the prettiest eyes. Both my girls do. They both have green/hazel eyes, which I absolutely love, thanks Grandpa Arnold!
Happy Birthday Hailey!!!
I can't believe I have a 4 year old. She has always been big for her age and I have probably always treated her as being older than she is so I don't know why I can't get used to the idea of her being 4. I do have her well trained though. She decided she wanted to go camping for her birthday. That's my kind of birthday! Actually that is how I have spent most of my birthdays. She also wanted to go to build a bear. I didn't get any pictures at build a bear, probably because I spent most of the time running around trying to keep Kyley in the store. Hailey wanted a Princess Jasmine cake for her birthday too. Well for those of you that don't know I decorate cakes, not professionally but for fun. After I got married I decided I wanted to learn how to do them so I took a bunch of classes, it was a ton of fun. So I found a coloring book picture and transfered it to the cake. I had all sorts of issues (children hanging on my legs) and the cake ended up not looking too perfect. Well you will never see the original version because I didn't get a picture of it before Kyley and Scooby re-decorated it. I had just baked the cake in one of those disposable aluminum pans that comes with a lid. I figured to take it camping that would work great. Well at one point in the car Scooby (our puppy) stepped on the cake. That wasn't too bad only part of Hailey's name got smashed. Well, while we were setting up camp Kyley got back in the car and turned the whole cake upside down. Poor cake! Hailey loved her birthday even though her cake got smashed. Here are a few pictures from Hailey's birthday. Well I guess all the pictures are at the top. I don't know how to make them go down here at the bottom or even in the middle for that matter.

New Background
Yeah! I have a new background. My first one was cute but it just didn't feel like me. After several hours of messing around with editing the template I think I have finally created something that is much more me. Thanks Megan for your help finding the websites with instructions on how to create my own template. After our big family Trial Lake trip I think I am going to attempt to change the background to a picture of the mountains. But my tree backgrounds works for me too so we'll see what stay's in the end. The photo that Don and I used for our wedding anouncement was actually a picture of us in a tree on a camping trip so I think it fits well.
